A not so regular feature in which I pick a book and then pick out things I think the character/s themselves would own/use or just really like. This week the featured book is...
The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupery. Featuring *Spoilers* for the book.
Focusing on Antoine.
The sky and stars play a big part, at least for me, in this story, and I think that afterwards it would have been something Antoine would have kept.
I find myself wondering whether he would've been angry at the snake, and I'm not entirely sure what I think yet, but... maybe he wouldn't have been. Maybe he'd have remembered it fondly.
This one actually has a picture of the prince on it, and I certainly think he would have been commemorated in such a way.
Despite the sadness, I don't think he would have forgot to be happy. I think he would've been more happy than ever.
This has such an exquisite feel to it, and with the moon and constellations and sneaky fox I think it would've made it through the generations. The family would never have forgotten that story.
